Transcribed and prepared by Anna Beller: If you pray to God to have an “Esther’s moment” on Purim, it’s always transformational. The only way you won’t have a transformational Purim if you’re not ready for it the whole idea is to loose daat. There’s no difference in answering people the way you normally would and the way Shaul responded to God.

And you must understand there can be no oral law if you have too much daas, because if you only want to see the world the way you see the world then you cant use Gods Torah, because your locked into something. You need binah. And who has binah yaterah? Extra binah? Women and that’s why the whole miracle of Purim has to be affected by a woman.

On Purim by losing your daas, God will transform you. You make yourself into a vessel to receive Gods’ influence, say I’m willing for you to being charge, not for me to be in charge and you literally make you a vessel to receive on Purim and if you get it you do. The only Purim’s you don’t work are the ones you don’t work at it.

It unbelievable you will change because you will have learned to make yourself into a vessel. Esther is the only one who said I don’t give a damn about defining myself she thinks I don’t care.

Purim is where I got my three rules of life:

1. I was created to succeed.


2. Success is not always an outcome of planned success, and


3. if I fail to respond to an opportunity I rejected the first two rules.

This is really Esther’s response to Hamman. Of course you’re not going to define yourself Hamman because you’re always thinking of the broader picture. You compare your perspective to God its nonsense so stop just worry about moments when you have your opportunities.
