So just remember sweetest friends that Purim is I’m wiping out evil from the world. Not with a knife. (59:10) Do you know what evil says to me? Everything is empty. Nothing can hold the depths of your being. Purim I’m so deep. So deep. [On] Purim God reveals to me the deepest deepest depths of my being. And the deepest depths of my being, and when God reveals to me the deepest depths of my being and shining, I’m not running to a book. You know what I’m doing? I’m running and I want to send my friend one apple and a piece of cake. And again friends, my friend is rich and he doesn’t need my piece of cake. I’m not sending it to you because you need it. You know friends, I’m sure it’s clear to you, when you love somebody a little, you want to give them a gift I ask them what they need. When I love somebody the most, I don’t give them a gift that they need. It’s the other way around. It’s because I gave it to them that’s why they need it.

You know what a servant of God is? It’s not someone who forces himself. If you work for God on a slave level, it means you’re living in a concentration camp, right. And God might have a cute little concentration camp also, right. And I’m sure there’s a lot of religious people who make a little holy concentration camp, right. “You have to do this, don’t do this. Don’t do this. Do this. You have to do this. I told you not to do this. Do this.” Some people take a gun and some people take God. It’s still a gun. I don’t want a God who’s forcing me. I want to be so close to God. I want to be so close to God that if I just have the smallest notion that this is what God wants me to do, I’m jumping out of my skin. I’m intoxicated. There’s nothing in the world which can stop me. There is nothing in the world which can stop me. If I know that my friend needs me, I’ll walk barefoot till the end of the world. Till the end of the world.

Now listen to the deepest deepest depths. Do you know that Purim was the first holiday that was initiated by us Jews? We added, we added the mitzvah. We didn’t have to. How do you wipe out evil? You know what we tell the evil voice in the world? You tell me God is force? Or God is telling you do this, don’t do this? It’s not true. It is not true. My relationship to God is on the deepest absolutely most deepest depths. Deepest deepest deepest in the world.

And again friends if something comes form the deepest depths of my being. It is forever and ever. And I don’t even mean forever in time. You know friends when you meet somebody and you have to meet them, so after the meeting is over, it’s over. When you love somebody so much you want to be with them, even if you just spend one minute with them, it carries you forever.

Purim is when mamish we made a new holiday not by force. Not even God force. And here I want you to know the deepest depths, by the story of Esther God’s name is not even mentioned. Because even God’s name is a little bit of a force. Purim is just gevalt! Right? It’s the deepest deepest deepest, closeness to God. Closeness to my friends.
